We use the same class of accurate, powerful, highly-adjustable carbon dioxide lasers that are approved for human tumour surgery. These lasers offer numerous advantages, including the minimisation of both bleeding and the possible "seeding" of tumour cells at the wound site, together with significant reductions in inflammation and wound infections due the laser's cauterising action.

These benefits result in swift, uneventful healing and a rapid return to work for our patients. Owner satisfaction is extremely high and, moreover, tumour remission rates in a recent survey of equine patients were over 90%.
